We are pleased to welcome Arifin Fu to Navitas as the new Chief Operating Officer at Deakin University Lancaster University Indonesia (DLI)
Arifin comes to us from Raffles College in Jakarta where he was the Director, and prior to this he was the Executive Director at Universitas Pelita Harapan’s (UPH) Medan Campus where he oversaw the setting up of operations at the university. During his tenure at UPH he also held the role of Dean for the Faculty of Economics and Business, Computer Science and Law. Arifin joins Navitas with a wealth of experience in the higher education sector which will ensure the excellent management of campus operations at DLI.
On 17 September, DLI was excited to open its doors and welcome their very first cohort of students to campus for O-Week. Having officially launched earlier this year in February, DLI is a groundbreaking partnership that marks the first-ever UK-Australia joint international campus located in the dynamic city of Bandung, just an hour from Jakarta via high-speed rail. DLI’s dual-degree programs will provide Indonesian students the opportunity to earn undergraduate qualifications from both Deakin University and Lancaster University. This means students can access world-renowned education while remaining close to home, surrounded by their support networks.
