An appointment has now been made with the following announcement released by the EGM, University Partnerships Australasia.
I am very pleased to announce the new General Manager of Edith Cowan University Sri Lanka. Helen Klaebe joins the team in Sri Lanka with a long academic career in Queensland.
Helen has spent the last 20 years with Queensland University of Technology, including the last 3 years with University of Queensland. She is an Adjunct Professor at both of these universities, and has had a variety of roles including as Pro Vice Chancellor / Dean of Graduate Research.
Helen’s background is in Creative Writing and Education, and holds a PhD, an MEd and an MA (Research).
Helen is no stranger to Sri Lanka and has visited before in previous university roles.
