An appointment has now been made with the following announcement released by the Chief Executive Officer.
I am delighted to announce that after a comprehensive global search, that provided a significant number of quality external candidates, Angela Raguz has been appointed to the role of General Manager Dementia Centre. Angela’s deep and extensive knowledge and experience in Aged Care and Complex Dementia more broadly made her the standout candidate who was ideal for this unique role. Angela has been a highly influential leader in the sector for over 25 years and brings her experience as a Registered Nurse and in various leadership roles across HammondCare to the role.
Angela will also continue as Chief Risk Officer and has appointed her leadership team (attached). You will see that this brings together the knowledge from the Quality and Risk partners and functions to help inform our Research, the findings from which in turn will drive our external delivery of Dementia Services and embed this world leading knowledge into HammondCare’s Dementia Expertise and practice.
A key focus of the new role will be to ensure that HammondCare continues to practice the best possible dementia care in existing and newly established services.
